How to Sell Digital Products From Your Link in Bio

October 18, 2026 · 3 min read

If people already watch your videos, your link in bio is the shortest path from "this is useful" to "I'll pay for more." Here's how to choose a first product, price it, and sell it with checkout built into your page.

Pick a product people already ask for

The best first product answers a question your audience keeps asking in comments and DMs. Look for:

  • Repeated questions. "What's your editing preset?", "Can you share your meal plan?", "How do you structure your week?"
  • Something you already made for yourself. A template, checklist, spreadsheet or guide you use every day.
  • A clear result. "Plan a month of content in an afternoon" sells better than "content planning tips."

Good first digital products are small and specific: a PDF guide, a template pack, presets, a workbook, or a short recorded lesson. You can also sell paid calls (bookings) and tickets to a live session from the same page.

Price it

  • Start simpler than you think. A focused product at a modest price is easier to buy on impulse from a phone.
  • Price against the result, not the page count. A one-page checklist that saves hours is worth more than a 40-page PDF nobody finishes.
  • Raise the price as proof comes in. Once buyers send you good feedback, put it on the page and adjust.

Watch the fees

Many creator storefronts take a percentage of every sale on top of payment processing. On small products that cut adds up fast. PostKit takes 0% of your sales; you only pay Stripe's standard processing fee, and the money goes to your own Stripe account.

Set it up in PostKit

  1. Connect Stripe. From your Account page, set up selling and connect your Stripe account once. Buyers can pay as soon as your Stripe account is active.
  2. Add a product to your link in bio and choose Digital.
  3. Add the file or link. Upload the file (PDF, Word or ZIP) or paste a link to where it lives.
  4. Write the product card. A clear title that names the result, two or three lines on who it's for and what's inside, and the price.
  5. Publish your page. Buyers pay by card right on your page without creating an account, and get a download button in their confirmation email automatically.

Write a product description that sells

Keep it short; people are buying on a phone between videos.

  • Line 1: the result. "Plan 30 days of Reels in one afternoon."
  • Line 2: what's inside. "A Notion template, 60 hook ideas and a weekly filming checklist."
  • Line 3: who it's for. "For creators posting 3–5 times a week."

Drive people to it from your videos

  • Make content that previews the product. Share one tip from the guide; the product is "the rest of it."
  • Say where to go. "It's the first thing in my bio." Put it at the top of your page.
  • Answer comments with a pointer. When someone asks the question your product answers, reply and mention it.
  • Collect emails too. Not everyone buys on day one. An email signup on your page lets you tell them when you launch something new.

Track what's working

Check which links and products get clicks and sales, and which videos sent people to your page. Make more of the videos that send buyers, and rewrite product cards that get clicks but no sales.
